We are hiring for a Packer in our Portsmouth, OH, location. As a Packer, you would pack product in double liner bags in cases with specific counts, label boxes, stamp lot numbers, and stack on pallets. Product is packed in combos with liner, stamped with lot number, and placed on a pallet.

Requirements

• Ability to work in fast paced environment that involves repetitive motion
• Good communication capabilities
• Follow written and oral instructions
• Good vision capabilities to perform inspection of equipment
• Knowledge of safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Pack product in double liner bags in cases with specific counts
• Label boxes
• Stamp lot numbers
• Stack in pallets
• Pack product in combos with liner
• Stamp product with lot number
• Place product on a pallet
• CCP checks and record keeping of each cook
• Inspect products while packaging
• Labeling of product
• Stamping of lot number and record keeping
• Responsible for the execution of the Waste Management Procedure
• Follow the Food Defense Procedure
• Follow the GMP’s in production areas
• Follow instructions from supervisor and general guidelines
