About The Position

The packaging team member joins a twelve-person team responsible for packing meat and seafood into pouches and boxes for distribution to customers. The role involves operating packaging machines, preparing products and boxes for distribution, and maintaining a clean workspace. The employee should have a strong work ethic, be punctual and friendly, and work well as part of a team. The work takes place in a temperature-controlled refrigerated plant.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, friendliness, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to add and subtract simple numbers and to multiply and divide.
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled refrigerated plant.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum seal and box product portions using packaging machines.
• Weigh and label boxes.
• Stack boxes on pallets for distribution.
