About The Position

At Disney, we’re storytellers. We make the impossible, possible. The Walt Disney Company is a world-class entertainment and technological leader. Walt’s passion was to continuously envision new ways to move audiences around the world—a passion that remains our touchstone in an enterprise that stretches from theme parks, resorts and a cruise line to sports, news, movies and a variety of other businesses. The Corporate Technology mission is to deliver technology solutions that align to business strategies while enabling enterprise efficiency and promoting cross-company collaborative innovation. Our group drives competitive advantage by enhancing our consumer experiences, enabling business growth, and advancing operational excellence. • Basic Understanding of Agile software delivery and common ceremonies.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into clear requirements and collaborate across functions.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and accept feedback
  • Strong written/verbal communication and organization skills; comfort presenting to mixed technical/non-technical audiences.
  • BA/BS in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information systems, business) or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, coursework, or project experience in product management, business analysis, engineering, or design.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira/Confluence, Smartsheet or similar project management and product analytics tools.

Contribute to problem framing: synthesize user research, stakeholder input, and data to define clear problem statements and hypotheses.
  • Backlog Management & Prioritization: Help maintain a well-groomed backlog: write concise user stories with acceptance criteria; group work into epics/features. Facilitate prioritization using customer value, feasibility, and alignment to company goals. Prioritization factors commonly include customer needs and company objectives.
  • Delivery & Execution: Partner with engineering, design, and QA to clarify scope, and iterate toward outcomes. Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives) and keep work items updated in Jira/Confluence.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare updates that clearly articulate the “why,” the plan, and progress; capture decisions, risks, and dependencies. Collaborate with partner teams to ensure readiness for launch and adoption.
  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Define success metrics for features; monitor usage and performance; propose follow-ons based on evidence. Contribute to post-launch retrospectives and incorporate learnings into roadmap and practices.
