About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Product Owner. This is a Full Time - Contract role with a duration of 6 Months, located in Atlanta, GA. As a Product Owner, you will coordinate with the Scrum Master, Delivery Team, and Product Managers in various planning events including Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, etc. You will initiate and translate the product road map into a manageable product backlog in collaboration with Product Managers and key business stakeholders. You will own and prioritize the Team Backlog and be responsible for defining and accepting User Stories. You will ensure the Product Management team has insight and understanding in the Product and effective prioritization of Backlog Items. You will liaise with the Product Manager to understand features and changes in product requirements and support release planning and sprint planning exercises. You will have a full understanding of Epic, Feature, Story breakdown and alignment to the backlog. You will establish partnership and working alignment with the Delivery team and Product Management team enabling value-driven delivery. You will have a keen understanding of the Product(s) and serve as a Subject Matter Expert to the team and external partners. You will serve as a mentor for junior Product Owners, cultivating and growing their skillset, Agile mindset, and ability to unlock value delivery. You will champion and drive delivery through the Five Levels of Agile Planning: Vision, Roadmap, Release Plan, Sprint Plan, Day Plan.

Requirements

5+ years in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or Applied ML.
3–5+ years hands-on with Power BI i.e. DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling, performance tuning.
Strong SQL and data modeling.
Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data services.
Pipelines with Python and one of Airflow/Prefect/dbt

Nice To Haves

Experience integrating enterprise systems i.e., LMS, HRIS, scheduling, ERP or similar.
LMS integrations (Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Workday Learning, Docebo, etc.)
Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power Platform App Maker).
Experience in training/learning ops or field operations environments.

Responsibilities
