About The Position

Winsupply is seeking a Product Owner to work on projects from inception to end using Agile methodologies. The role involves defining and communicating the product vision, owning the product backlog, writing user stories, making scope and priority trade-off decisions, gathering requirements, and serving as the liaison between the business and development teams. The Product Owner will review deliverables, define success metrics, communicate product progress, and stay close to end users to gather feedback and analyze usage data. They will also manage external dependencies, lead agile ceremonies, define and own the product roadmap, champion the user experience, and drive alignment across teams.

Requirements

Master of Science in Engineering Management or Computer Science
12 months experience as Software Developer or Product Owner
Proficiency in Agile methodologies
Experience with Competitive Benchmarking, Project Planning & Prioritization, Market Research, Go-to-Market Strategy, Customer Interviews, User Stories, Product Marketing, Road Mapping, Customer Journey, Brand Management, Change Management, Inventory Management, Logistics and Transportation Management, Procurement and Sourcing, Supply chain planning and optimization, Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies, Data analytics, Project Management, Risk Management, Vendor Management and Negotiations
Familiarity with technologies such as Selenium, SQL, HTML, CSS, C, C++, Python, SAP, R, Figma, HPALM, qTest, AWS, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, JIRA, Confluence, Google suite, Canva, Trello, MATLAB, LTSpice, VERILOG, RPA, Miro, Arduino, Blynk.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate the product vision, ensuring the development team understands the long-term goals.
Own the product backlog end to end, including creating, prioritizing, and continuously refining user stories.
Write clear and detailed user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
Make real-time scope and priority trade-off decisions.
Gather requirements from multiple sources and translate them into actionable backlog items.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the business side and the development team.
Review deliverables against acceptance criteria to validate and accept or reject completed work.
Define success metrics (KPIs) to ensure success is tracked in a measurable, data-driven way.
Communicate product progress, risks, blockers, and upcoming plans to stakeholders and leadership.
Conduct or participate in backlog refinement sessions with the dev team.
Stay close to end users by gathering feedback, analyzing usage data, monitoring support issues, and conducting research.
Manage and validate external dependencies with partners and vendors.
Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives.
Define and own the product roadmap, adjusting it as priorities shift.
Champion the user experience by advocating for usability, consistency, and quality.
Drive alignment across teams by facilitating conversations, resolving conflicting priorities, and ensuring everyone works toward the same outcomes.
