About The Position

This is a Contract position based out of Blue Ash, OH. The role involves serving as a Product Owner (PO) or Business Analyst (BA) to manage the product roadmap, align priorities with business objectives, and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams. The PO/BA will be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing and refining the product backlog, and leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaboration with UX, engineering, analytics, and operational teams is key to delivering scalable product solutions. The role requires leveraging customer and business insights to drive product decisions, defining and tracking KPIs, identifying and mitigating risks, and supporting change management for successful product launches. The position is fully remote and requires the candidate to be in EST or CST time zones.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience managing product backlogs and working closely with cross-functional delivery teams.
Ability to write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience using data and analytics to inform decision-making.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Must be EST or CST.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the product roadmap, aligning priorities with business objectives and customer needs.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
Prioritize and refine the product backlog to maximize value delivery.
Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum framework.
Collaborate with UX, engineering, analytics, and operational teams to deliver scalable product solutions.
Leverage customer, associate, and business insights to drive product decisions.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities while proactively removing delivery obstacles.
Support change management, training, and adoption activities to ensure successful product launches.
