About The Position

The Product Owner works in Infosys Healthcare’s product consulting function, supporting healthcare product development and implementation. The role assists with requirements analysis, customer and market research, product design and prototyping, architecture and technology evaluation, feature development, customization, integration, quality checks, production issue resolution, and operational documentation. It collaborates with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and client stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle to deliver customer-aligned solutions and successful rollouts.

Requirements

Experience with quality improvement programs and performance reporting, including HEDIS and STAR.
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage-related regulations and HIPAA.
Experience working on Medicare Advantage programs, with exposure to quality improvement programs and HEDIS and STAR ratings.
Experience developing HIPAA-compliant applications or operational processes.
Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations.
Knowledge of SaaS architecture and integrations.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.
Ability to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Nice To Haves

Experience in software delivery or product implementations, including healthcare SaaS/BPaaS implementations.
Knowledge and experience with scaled agile frameworks.

Responsibilities

Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and assess the technical feasibility of product features.
Document and analyze customer requirements, ensuring relevant information is captured for development.
Conduct market studies and analysis to help define product requirements and features.
Participate in competitive analysis and risk assessments.
Assist with architectural designs and product structure, and support the evaluation of technology frameworks.
Participate in scalability and performance assessments and help plan integration with existing systems.
Identify product design concepts, create prototypes, and structure user-experience elements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align work with design goals.
Participate in developing small features and enhancements and contribute to development tasks.
Gather customer needs with internal stakeholders and translate them into actionable development tasks.
Maintain development documentation aligned with customer expectations.
Conduct quality checks and ensure development activities meet defined standards.
Discuss customer requirements and identify customization options.
Contribute to structured proposals and tailored customer solutions.
Document customization processes and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Develop implementation checklists for integration.
Gather system specifications, document integration procedures, and support setup of necessary tools and resources.
Coordinate stakeholders and communication during implementation.
Participate in production issue analysis, log incidents, and validate fixes.
Maintain standard operating procedures and operational user manuals.
Work with client and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and support timely product fixes.
Draft SOPs, user guides, and workflow documentation based on team input.
Help maintain accurate documentation repositories.
Record completed work, learnings, and product behavior observed during rollouts.
Participate in knowledge-transfer sessions and contribute to internal repositories.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Support product testing, troubleshooting, quality, and operational stability.
Coordinate across cross-functional and client teams to support effective product rollouts and solution success.
