About The Position

As a Product Owner, Websites, you’ll be part of our Digital Engagement, Websites team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to define and implement strategies for brand website development and enhancement in partnership with brand, marketing, and business teams. You will lead website projects from initial conception through launch, working closely with project managers, shared services, and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful delivery. You will drive and coordinate the entire product development life cycle—including ideation, planning, design, development, testing, approvals, launch, and ongoing maintenance—ensuring each phase meets quality and business objectives. You will act as a technology advisor and thought leader, championing innovative technical solutions that drive business results. You will influence the corporate platform architecture, technology strategy, and roadmap. You will maintain high visibility within the business, representing IT in strategic meetings and forums. You will assist business units in improving process and system solutions to meet both tactical and strategic needs. You will ensure consistent project progress through effective communication, risk management, and escalation handling. You will evaluate project objectives and analyze new business initiatives to support decision-making. You will drive change and accountability across business and IT teams, enabling digital transformation. You will manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and 6 years relevant experience, or graduate degree and 4 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (such as Digital Strategy, Technology Management, or Business Administration) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of system development methodology, project management, system architecture and analytical/problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage cross-platform digital projects (desktop, tablet, mobile) with distributed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of all phases of digital development: concept, information architecture, design, development, and QA.
  • Experience with DAM, PIM, and CMS platforms, including metadata modeling and workflow automation.
  • Experience in digital innovation, UX, and mobile-first responsive design.
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills, motivating and directing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile project management frameworks and tools (Atlassian JIRA, Monday, Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar).
  • Success in executing global technology projects.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • Ability to simplify and standardize complex concepts and business processes for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, including expertise in business process management, modeling, and principles.
  • Effective vendor and stakeholder relationship management at all organizational levels.
  • Consultative problem-solving skills, leveraging strategic thinking to address business challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in requirements definition, management, and facilitation of workshops.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary team environments and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and ability to translate them into actionable business strategies.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Pragmatic Institute Certification) are highly valued.
  • Additional coursework or training in web technologies, digital marketing, UX/UI design, or project management is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SEO, and web analytics.
  • Experience in Customer Experience teams, multi-lingual/multichannel/global implementations, user research, content strategy, and automated testing.
