About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space is pioneering the future of model-based and concurrent engineering. We are seeking a Product Owner – Space Concurrent Enterprise to champion a cutting-edge Space Model-Based Enterprise (SMBE) that unifies design, analysis, and manufacturing data across the program lifecycle. In this role you will work side-by-side with multidisciplinary teams—systems engineers, operations specialists, and program managers—to translate mission objectives into a seamless process that drives rapid, high-confidence decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
Demonstrated experience applying standard product-ownership practices (backlog management, user-story creation, stakeholder alignment).

Nice To Haves

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent Agile PO/PM certification.
Proficiency with model-based systems engineering tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, Simulink, CATIA, or similar).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical data into clear, actionable product requirements.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven track record of fostering collaboration in fast-paced, concurrent-engineering environments.
