Bosch GroupFarmington Hills, MI

About The Position

Own the product vision, strategy, and delivery of a multi-tenant SaaS platform that maximizes vehicle uptime, lowers total cost of ownership, and simplifies maintenance operations for commercial fleets (trucks, vans, buses). You will translate real-world fleet maintenance needs into a compelling roadmap and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes—balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in product roles (Product Owner/Manager) delivering B2B SaaS—ideally operations, field service, asset/fleet management or logistics.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated success taking complex workflow products from discovery to scaled adoption with measurable impact.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated discovery & communication skills—can turn ambiguity into clear problems, outcomes, and stories; great with both operational users and executives.
  • 2+ years demonstrated evidence of working in cloud-native environments and collaborating closely with architects/engineers on non-functional requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on with data-informed decision-making (product analytics, cohort analysis, A/B testing where appropriate).
  • Experience with fleet maintenance domain (telematics, diagnostics, workshop ops, PM plans, warranty).
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and SaaS fundamentals (tenant isolation, IAM/KMS, networking, observability).
  • Background in Infrastructure-as-Code collaboration and CI/CD workflows; understanding of Kubernetes/EKS or serverless patterns for product decisions.
  • Exposure to predictive maintenance/ML/AI use cases and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Define and continuously refine the product vision, value proposition, and target personas (fleet manager, maintenance planner, workshop manager, technician, CFO/COO).
  • Structure discovery (customer interviews, field ride-alongs, usability tests, pilots) to validate problems and solutions—turn insights into prioritized outcomes and hypotheses.
  • Segment fleet customer needs (size, industry, internal/external workshops, EV vs. ICE) to shape a modular/SKU strategy and packaging/pricing recommendations.
  • Partner with data science and engineering to shape predictive maintenance capabilities (fault code ingestion, anomaly detection, RUL/health scoring) grounded in real operational data.
  • Own the product backlog, write crisp user stories and acceptance criteria, and drive prioritization across development teams with clear trade-offs (value, risk, effort).
  • Lead increment planning and release management; ensure the platform meets non-functional requirements (reliability, performance, security, scalability, cost).
  • Deliver core maintenance workflows: Telematics ingestion & diagnostics (CAN, OEM APIs, tachograph, OBD-II/J1939, DTCs) Maintenance planning (OEM schedules, PM plans, inspections, compliance reminders—e.g., TÜV/HU) Work order management (estimates, labor, parts, warranty, vendor management) Inventory & parts (stock levels, reorder points, supplier integrations) Scheduling & dispatch (shop capacity, bay/technician allocation, route-aware planning Analytics & reporting (uptime, MTTR, cost/km, PM compliance, FTFR, stock turns)
  • Ensure API-first delivery for integrations (ERP, EAM/CMMS, telematics providers, OEM portals, service networks, payment).
  • Run lighthouse pilots with key fleets; define success criteria, measure outcomes, and scale adoption.
  • Build and leverage partner ecosystems (telematics/OEMs/workshop networks) to accelerate value.

Benefits

  • We offer a competitive compensation and a benefits package designed to empower you in every area of your life.
  • This includes premium health coverage, a 401(k) with generous matching, resources for financial planning and goal setting, ample paid time off, parental leave, and comprehensive life and disability protection.
