About The Position

Colibri Group is a leading professional education company that helps millions of professionals across various fields advance their careers. They are currently undertaking a significant initiative to unify their marketing technology across their entire portfolio. This newly created role of Product Owner - Marketing Technology will be the first to own the marketing technology roadmap end-to-end, consolidating marketing technology across five business units onto a single platform built on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. The role reports directly to the VP of GTM Product & Technology and operates in a two-in-a-box partnership with engineering leadership, collaborating with five marketing VPs/SVPs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years professional experience
  • 5+ years in product ownership within marketing technology/marketing automation
  • Marketing domain fluency (PM who owned martech platforms, or marketer who moved into product)
  • Strong PM fundamentals: roadmap, prioritization, cross-functional alignment, Agile/Scrum
  • Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
  • Presence/conviction to manage 5 senior marketing stakeholders simultaneously without folding under pressure
  • AI curiosity

Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing automation product roadmap, aligned to business and GTM objectives across multiple business units
  • Define product vision, priorities, and success metrics for marketing automation capabilities, primarily within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud
  • Partner with five business-unit marketing leaders to align on customer journeys, messaging, segmentation, and growth priorities
  • Manage backlog, user stories, and sprint planning (Agile/Scrum)
  • Own the "what and why" in a two-in-a-box model; engineering owns the "how"
  • Drive campaign orchestration, customer journeys, segmentation, personalization
  • Ensure integration between marketing platforms and core systems (CRM, CDP/data warehouse); ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM
  • Define and track KPIs for marketing automation and growth initiatives
  • Bring an AI-curious mindset to identifying automation/personalization opportunities
