About The Position

Own the AI use-case backlog for the pod, starting with the servicing agent-assist scale-out and prioritizing additional items from Mike's backlog of AI pilots. Partner with Sallie Mae's internal Product Owner and Carrie's PSL leadership team to define call reduction, AHT (average handle time), and deflection targets — Steve cited the early benchmark of "90 seconds to 14 seconds" agent lookup time and signaled this is where ROI must be proven. Translate business intent into Epics, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps (ADO), the SOW-mandated system of record, with explicit Acceptance Criteria. Run sprint planning, refinement, sprint reviews, and demos in line with Photon's AI-infused agile cadence (1–2 week sprints, working toward 2-day sprints as the team matures). Operate as a "Vibe PO" — leveraging AI tooling for requirements drafting, story generation, and acceptance criteria authoring (Mukund highlighted this model is being staffed at Citi). Coordinate with Derek Wade (Steve's agile transformation advisor) on ways-of-working alignment.

Requirements

Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
Familiarity with AI tooling for requirements drafting, story generation, and acceptance criteria authoring
Understanding of agile methodologies and cadences
Ability to define and track targets for call reduction, AHT, and deflection
Experience translating business intent into Epics, Features, and User Stories with Acceptance Criteria
