About The Position

Jerry.ai is seeking a Product Owner for Agentic AI to lead their customer-facing AI product. This role involves leveraging LLMs, agents, and internal APIs to enhance customer experience and working with partners like OpenAI to integrate Jerry.ai services into the ChatGPT App. The company is a pre-IPO startup with significant funding, traction, and profitability, offering accelerated career growth due to its flat organizational structure and ambitious goals. The Product Owner will report directly to the COO and will be responsible for a critical growth area for the company. Jerry.ai aims to simplify car ownership, which is currently a fragmented, complicated, and expensive process. The company has already established itself as a top insurance broker and has a proprietary AI infrastructure that automates a significant portion of customer interactions. This role is crucial for unifying and scaling these AI capabilities, including developing a roadmap for future advancements like voicebot and computer-use applications.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a technical role like forward deployed engineering, technical product management, or similar at a fast-paced startup.
Passion and curiosity for AI systems including modern LLMs, etc.
Track record of taking complex, strategic ideas and turning them into scalable, production-grade products.
Familiar with SQL and comfortable diving into the data to answer your own questions and validate hypotheses.
Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead by example when implementing AI platform standards.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development for our AI platform and customer experiences, from initial roadmap to rollout.
Partner with engineers to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails—balancing latency, cost, and accuracy.
Serve as the technical translator between engineering and the broader organization, establishing AI best practices and platform standards.
Drive systematic improvement in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous experimentation.
Work with partners at OpenAI to evaluate and deploy the next generation of voice models and workflow automation.
