Product Operations Manager

Honeydew•New York, NY

About The Position

Honeydew is a venture-backed healthcare startup building the future of skin health. Our platform spans a patient-facing app, tools for Providers and Admins, and an e-commerce storefront for our own prescription skincare line, DewRx. We were founded by a serial entrepreneur from Wharton, David Futoran, and one of the country's most prominent dermatologists, Joel Spitz, MD. Our leadership team comes from Google, McKinsey, Flatiron Health, DoorDash, and others. This role will sit on the Product team, report to the Head of Product and AI, and work day to day with PMs, designers, engineers, and our care operations leaders. The primary focus is to bridge the gap between care operations feedback and the product development lifecycle. This involves taking in feedback from care teams and providers, prioritizing it based on impact and risk, and ensuring that product development and launches are aligned with operational realities. The role requires someone who can identify opportunities within healthcare's complexities to improve the patient experience and treatment access.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in product operations, launch or program management, or care/clinical operations with significant product exposure
  • Experience running an intake or prioritization process — scoring frameworks like RICE, and the judgment to know when the score is wrong
  • Deep familiarity with healthcare operations — care coordination, clinical workflows, pharmacy, or similar — or a clear track record of learning a complex operational domain quickly
  • Experience owning launches that changed how an operations team works day to day
  • Strong written communication. You can explain the same change to a care coordinator, a provider, and an engineer, and each of them gets what they need
  • Comfort with data — you can pull and read your own numbers to answer "how often is this actually happening?"
  • Heavy, current use of AI tools in your day-to-day work, and ideally experience building simple agents or automations
  • You build systems other people keep using after you've moved on
  • Startup experience, and comfort creating structure where none exists

Nice To Haves

  • Telehealth, digital health, or pharmacy experience
  • Familiarity with REMS programs (like iPledge), prescription workflows, or lab integrations
  • A background as a care coordinator or clinical ops lead before moving into product

Responsibilities

  • Own intake for feedback from our care teams and providers — suggestion boxes, weekly syncs, escalations, support tickets, and incident patterns
  • Size and rank what comes in by frequency, patient and staff impact, time cost, and clinical risk, and bring a prioritized, evidence-backed view to roadmap planning
  • Close the loop with Operations on every request, including the ones we decide not to do
  • Bring operational and clinical workflow expertise into specs and design reviews — edge cases, acceptance criteria, and what could break for which role
  • Run shadow sessions and workflow walkthroughs so PMs, designers, and engineers see how our tools are actually used
  • Own launch readiness for releases that touch care operations: the release calendar, readiness checklists, go/no-go, role-specific change summaries, and first-week monitoring
  • Partner closely with our Enablement team so training is ready when features ship
  • Build AI-powered workflows that make all of the above faster: feedback synthesis, scoring, release notes, launch tracking, and keeping our internal knowledge base current
