Product Operations Manager II

Analog DevicesSan Jose, CA
Onsite

About The Position

Analog Devices (ADI) is a global leader in solving the toughest engineering challenges. As we shift from a project-centric execution model to a product-led growth strategy, we are seeking a Product Operations Manager to spearhead this transformation. In this role, you won't just manage tasks — you will be the "Product Architect" for our internal teams. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategic goals and the daily execution of our engineering and project teams. Your mission is to "teach product" to our project-oriented talent, standardize our toolkits, and ensure our technical breakthroughs translate into seamless customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, management consulting, or an operational capacity within a high-growth technology environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field preferred.
  • A proven track record of moving teams from "output-focused" (completing tasks) to "outcome-focused" (solving customer problems). You think in outcomes, not activities.
  • Comfortable working alongside engineers, data scientists, and hardware teams. Ability to translate technical complexity into clear product narratives.
  • Deep understanding of stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives — with the ability to adapt these ceremonies for a hardware/software hybrid environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders around a common vision.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Agilist, or PMP certification.
  • Prior experience in the semiconductor, IoT, or embedded systems industry.
  • Formal training or hands-on experience in organizational change management (e.g., Prosci, Kotter).
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert to transition project managers into product-thinking leaders.
  • Develop frameworks, onboarding guides, and training programs to upskill teams in Agile, Scrum, and modern product discovery methodologies.
  • Refine and create processes that accelerate time-to-outcome, enabling the team to course-correct quickly when data suggests a strategic shift is needed.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making across product and engineering.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders — from ideation through launch.
  • Own roadmap execution cadences, OKR tracking, and release planning.
  • Lead internal "Product Studios" and cross-functional forums to facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization, fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and continuous learning.
  • Evaluate, implement, and govern the product operations tech stack (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha!, ProductBoard) to ensure consistency, visibility, and scalability across teams.

Benefits

  • medical, vision and dental coverage
  • 401k
  • paid vacation
  • holidays
  • sick time
