About The Position

The Product Management Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position. This role will play a critical part in ensuring we have the right management of collateral for partner onboarding and expansion and will also execute on activities related to the optimization of overall partnership portfolio inclusive of program exists and wind-downs. This individual will be responsible for the following: Third Party Due Diligence: This individual will be responsible for leading the requirements related to third party due diligence up until contract execution for new partnerships to include retail partners or suppliers driving new capabilities to ensure the partnership is well positioning for signing and onboarding. Merchant Management: For smaller programs that are likely to be put into wind down mode, this individual will assume the merchant management role to oversee the partnerships until such time they are exited, being the main point of contact to the merchants, participating in internal performance routines as needed and ensuring any issues are escalated and managed appropriately. Wind Downs and Exits: This role will develop and execute the playbook for partner/merchant wind downs and exits, ensuring legal terms are understood, consumer and merchant communications are taken care of, and project plans are executed upon for all tasks related to the exit. Partner Optimization: This role will participate in developing and establishing standards across pricing, features, commercial teams, data sharing and other key components of partner agreements to drive all partners towards optimization. Performance Insights: This individual will develop the appropriate internal reporting required to ensure oversight and continued awareness of activities and deliverables. This individual will also be expected to develop strong cross-functional working relationships with a set of peers across USCC on delivering key strategic objectives supporting USCC and Citi strategic goals and investor day commitments. This role will require an individual with business knowledge, exceptional relationship management, communication and influencing skills at all levels, a strong focus on strategic execution. Excellent collaboration, communication and negotiation skills are required, often at a senior level.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers
  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members
  • Oversee client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and assist product managers in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
