Product Metallurgist
About The Position
Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking qualified applications for the posting of Product Metallurgist. Principal duties include, but are not limited to: Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Ensuring order entry is correct from a technical aspect. Understanding and maintaining system and standards for order entry. Providing technical support to customers and commercial teammates from inquiry to production to product feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent technical/engineering related steel production experience
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.
- Due to federal security requirements applicable to this role, only U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents are eligible for consideration.

- Experience reading and responding to industry and customer specifications
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical peers.
