About The Position

The Product Marketing Specialist will partner with Product, Engineering, Solutions & B2B Marketing teams to create go-to-market strategies for new product and feature launches and own product-market positioning, documentation for merchant facing assets, product framework and messaging. The role will require you to be highly collaborative and work across-departments including marketing, product, sales, analytics, engineering, solutions, and merchant success. This role will influence product roadmaps and craft messaging to improve the effectiveness of marketing and sales efforts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years product marketing experience in a B2B startup, fintech, or SaaS environment
  • experience in B2B messaging and positioning
  • track record of executing GTM plans to drive product or feature adoption

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field of study
  • Experience in the retail, e-commerce, or fintech space
  • Demonstrated ability to build, launch and optimize multi-channel marketing strategies & campaigns that highlight key products and features
  • Proficiency in analyzing strategy & campaign performance, interpreting KPIs, and translating insights into product and marketing enhancements
  • Proven success coordianting and presenting cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing teams to align GTM efforts with broader business and product goals

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional efforts to bring new features and products to market.
  • Develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions in partnership with the B2B Marketing team, Product, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and gather qualitative feedback to understand retailer product and service evaluation.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape for market segmentation and opportunity sizing.
  • Collaborate on multi-channel GTM strategies and campaign messaging for new Bread Pay features.
  • Create compelling content for internal and external audiences.

  • Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.
  • Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
  • Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December.
  • You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
