Product Marketing Operations Manager

AnthropicSan Francisco, CA
$255,000 - $320,000Hybrid

About The Position

Anthropic is seeking a Product Marketing Operations Manager to be the central organizer of the product launch process for the product marketing team. This role involves building and running the operating system behind product launches, including the launch calendar, the plan of record for deliverables, the review process for materials, and execution on launch day. The ideal candidate will treat the launch process as a product and drive adoption through influence. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role on a lean product marketing team, where the individual will also contribute directly as a product marketer during peak launch volumes. The role requires someone who can design systems rather than just manage them manually, and who thrives in an environment with shifting priorities and timelines.

Requirements

  • Owned launch or release operations end to end, and been accountable for launches landing on time and in good shape
  • Built or substantially improved a launch or release process
  • Treat process as a product — care whether people adopt what you build, and measure it
  • Background in product marketing, product operations, technical program management, and launch production all fit
  • Work well when priorities and timelines shift, and can keep a complex plan coherent as details change
  • Effective at driving decisions across senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Have a technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Write clearly, and can produce launch-ready material
  • Energized by ambiguity and moving fast in a rapidly evolving market

Responsibilities

  • Serve as one of the core organizers of the product launch process end to end: collaborating with peers across product, operations, and GTM
  • Own the product launch calendar and sequencing across a broad portfolio of releases — products, solutions, and programs — prioritizing time against the team's top priorities and coordinating timing with partner teams across marketing, product, and communications
  • Own the plan of record for each launch, including deliverables, owners, dependencies, and deadlines, and surface risks early enough to act on them
  • Own the path launch materials take through review, partnering with legal, policy, product, and communications so reviews happen in the right sequence against dates people can plan to
  • Drive decisions and alignment across senior cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
  • Own launch-day execution: sequencing, timing, access, and the operational readiness of everything that goes live together
  • Own the internal resources our field teams reach for first, along with the operational side of enablement, including scheduling, speakers, and materials logistics
  • Develop and improve launch processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks that scale beyond any one launch
  • Own launch retrospectives, recurring product communications, and — when volume requires it — launch materials themselves

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Optional equity donation matching
  • Generous vacation
  • Parental leave
  • Flexible working hours
  • Lovely office space
