We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to create powerful buyer personas and messaging for our suite of products. Our ideal candidate is a creative professional with a strong background in B-to-B product marketing. You must be able to learn new markets quickly and develop engaging messaging for various buyers to drive awareness, engagement, and demand. In addition, you must be able to work across internal departments to facilitate go-to-market activities, including rolling out new products to the market and product updates to existing customers. This role is primarily aligned with the carrier side of the business, supporting carrier-focused products and initiatives. However, the individual will also need to demonstrate the ability to understand and effectively market to both carrier and agency audiences. For this position, it’s also essential to be familiar with new technologies and marketing trends.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in enterprise product marketing, product management, or related fields preferred
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communication, or other relevant field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with technical and sales communities
  • Experience in insurance or financial services preferred
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and writing proficiency
  • High performer who consistently meets/exceeds personal MBOs but thrives in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • Be the expert on our buyers: create and update buyer personas and be the voice of the buyer internally and externally
  • Collaborate with the go-to-market team to define and execute go-to-market strategies that launch and commercialize our products in a differentiated light
  • Be able to demonstrate our top differentiators and articulate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for various products
  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts, including the collection and analysis of competitor offerings, positioning, pricing, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, as well as develop and maintain competitive assets (e.g. battlecards)
  • Translate competitive and market insights into clear, actionable recommendations for Product, Marketing, Sales, and Enablement stakeholders.
  • Support and guide internal marketing partners in developing, producing, and delivering high quality materials in for thought leadership and demand campaigns
  • Partner with Product Management to guide the evolution of our product roadmaps
  • Lead Product Marketing foundational initiatives and mentor junior product marketing staff
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on the creation of trainings, product pitch decks, and market intelligence for the sales teams
