About The Position

Warp is seeking its first Product Marketing Manager to own the narrative surrounding its multi-product AI-native Employee Management Platform. This role involves translating engineering outputs into market understanding through positioning, messaging, product launches, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement. The position is a high-ownership individual contributor role with the opportunity to build the product marketing function. Warp is an AI-native platform that includes HRIS, payroll, IT, benefits, and tax compliance, processing over half a billion dollars annually in payroll and aiming for significant growth. The company emphasizes speed, ownership, and craft, operating in the office five days a week to leverage proximity as a competitive advantage. Warp has secured over $85 million in funding from prominent investors and boasts a team with experience from top tech companies.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in product marketing at a B2B SaaS company, preferably with experience in a multi-product or platform environment.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex products.
  • Proven experience owning product launches and creating sales enablement materials that are effectively utilized by sales teams.
  • Comfort working with technical and regulated products.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Fintech, HR tech, or payroll and payments.
  • Experience positioning a challenger brand against an established incumbent.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning and messaging across the platform, including payroll, benefits, IT, and future additions.
  • Drive product launches from beginning to end, with the Series B announcement and associated launches serving as an early test.
  • Own competitive intelligence, thoroughly understanding competitors like Workday, Rippling, and Gusto, and equipping the sales team accordingly.
  • Build sales enablement materials such as pitch narratives, battlecards, and one-pagers to facilitate closing enterprise deals.
  • Manage the communication of pricing and packaging strategies as new tiers and add-ons are introduced.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within product decisions and the voice of product within the market.
