Prophix Software is seeking a driven and customer-centric Product Marketing Manager to support our product marketing function across go-to-market strategy, messaging, positioning, content development, and sales enablement for our industry-leading Financial Performance Platform. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you will work closely with product management, competitive intelligence, marketing, and sales teams to create impactful storylines, market awareness, and enablement programs for existing and new solutions targeting the Office of the CFO.

Requirements

  • A mix of experience, training, or education that helps you succeed in this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Marketing.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Developing understanding of FP&A and accounting landscapes.
  • Early-stage knowledge of product marketing research.
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
  • Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
  • Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of experience in product marketing.
  • Deep understanding of Office of the CFO (OCFO) processes, corporate performance management (CPM), accounting, or adjacent finance markets, with the ability to translate financial concepts into compelling marketing strategies.
  • Experience in product marketing, specifically targeting mid-market and enterprise finance leaders (Office of the CFO), FP&A, or the financial software industry.
  • Passion for storytelling and a desire to “own the story.”
  • Curious and eager to develop deeper product and customer knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical product marketing content that communicates platform architecture, integrations, security, scalability, and data management to CIO and IT audiences.
  • Own persona-based technical messaging for finance, IT, and executive stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear, buyer-relevant narratives.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to validate technical claims, architecture, integrations, and security requirements used in customer, sales, and analyst-facing materials.
  • Support positioning of Prophix within customer technology ecosystems, including integrations, data flows, and coexistence with ERP, BI, and data platforms.
  • Support and contribute to RFP and RFI responses for prospects and analyst firms (e.g., Gartner), ensuring technical accuracy and differentiation.
  • Develop detailed product demonstrations, tutorials, and walkthroughs—often via video, webinars, or guided demos—that showcase platform capabilities and technical depth.
  • Support sales enablement programs that drive pipeline and revenue, with an emphasis on technical validation and buyer confidence.
  • Assist in developing presentations, playbooks, demo narratives, reference architectures, webpages, and supporting collateral.
  • Evangelize Prophix internally and externally via webinars, events, customer briefings, and workshops.
  • Engage with and monitor relevant technical communities and forums to build credibility, gather feedback, and inform technical messaging and content.
  • Support product releases and launches across both business and technical buyer audiences.
  • Assist with buyer persona development, competitive intelligence, and market research to strengthen positioning and go-to-market execution.
