DatadogSan Francisco, NY
Hybrid

About The Position

Datadog’s Log Management product suite is one of our flagship and fastest-growing businesses, having surpassed $1B in ARR and continuing to scale rapidly. Logs sit at the core of observability, powering how customers monitor, troubleshoot, and secure their systems at scale. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager who will take ownership of key strategic functions within the Logs business and help scale them into repeatable, high-impact programs. This is a highly cross-functional role where you will partner closely with Product, Sales, Enablement, and Marketing to drive meaningful business outcomes. This role is ideal for a proactive, execution-oriented PMM who is excited to take initiative, lead projects end-to-end, and help shape how we scale go-to-market for one of Datadog’s most important product lines. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

Requirements

  • A proactive, self-starter who takes ownership and drives projects from idea to execution
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement
  • Strong problem solver who can identify gaps, propose solutions, and operationalize them into scalable programs
  • Experienced in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or related roles (typically 3–5 years)
  • Passionate about technology, with a solid understanding of cloud computing, DevOps, and modern architectures
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with experience creating compelling content and presentations
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with observability, log management, or telemetry pipelines
  • Familiarity with Datadog or similar platforms
  • Background in technical fields such as computer science, engineering, or hands-on development experience

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale core product marketing functions such as competitive intelligence and customer marketing, transforming one-off tactics into repeatable programs used across GTM teams
  • Act as the PMM lead for the Flex Logs SKU, partnering closely with Product Managers to define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
  • Lead end-to-end product and feature launches, including positioning, packaging, messaging, enablement, and cross-functional alignment
  • Build and maintain differentiated value propositions and messaging frameworks that resonate with target audiences and drive adoption
  • Develop high-impact sales enablement assets (battlecards, pitch decks, demos) grounded in deep market and competitive insights
  • Partner with Demand Gen and Campaigns teams to translate product strategy into revenue-driving programs
  • Drive customer marketing initiatives including case studies, testimonials, and storytelling that showcase customer value and outcomes
  • Contribute across the full PMM spectrum, including content creation, campaigns, events, and field enablement
  • Identify new growth opportunities and creative ways to accelerate adoption and expansion of Log Management solutions

Benefits

  • Work on one of Datadog’s most strategic and high-growth product lines
  • Opportunity to own meaningful areas of the business and drive real impact
  • Collaborate with a highly cross-functional team across Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Shape how we scale go-to-market programs for Logs as we continue to grow
  • Be part of a culture that values ownership, creativity, and execution excellence
  • Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
