About The Position

Rho is seeking a Product Marketing Lead to own how the company presents itself across all product launches, positioning, website content, and go-to-market strategies. This role is crucial for communicating the value of Rho's rapidly expanding product offerings and entering new market categories. The ideal candidate will act as the voice of the customer, developing personas to guide the company's sales, product development, and communication efforts. This position requires a proactive individual who can lead market entries, build scalable processes, and enhance sales effectiveness. The role involves owning the product marketing function, reporting to the VP of Marketing, and managing a product marketer.

Requirements

  • Excellent writing skills and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Distinctive point of view and creativity in building narratives.
  • 7+ years in product marketing, including end-to-end ownership of at least one new category or product line entry.
  • Ability to market AI products credibly, explaining agentic products without hype.
  • Proven experience in personally building and publishing pages, tools, or campaigns.
  • Experience building ICPs and segmentation from primary research and behavioral data.
  • Experience conducting customer calls and translating them into decisions.
  • Systems thinking approach to building playbooks, insight loops, and workflows.
  • Experience managing at least one person.
  • Ability to write fast, clean copy in the customer's language.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning, narrative, pricing strategy, competitive strategy, and launch execution for new product category entries.
  • Develop entry playbooks to accelerate future launches.
  • Own the narrative for Rho's advanced AI products, making complex technical work understandable to customers, investors, and the market.
  • Manage the launch calendar, including sequencing, readiness assessment, and go/no-go decisions.
  • Oversee release communications and adoption programs to ensure customer discovery and usage of new features.
  • Partner with Sales to develop competitive positioning, objection handling, and winning narratives for sales representatives.
  • Translate segment research into market-specific go-to-market strategies, including ICP definitions, messaging, and entry playbooks.
  • Partner with the Growth team to translate positioning into campaigns and establish feedback loops for performance data to refine positioning.
  • Own the messaging, narrative, page architecture, copy, and launch pages for rho.co.
  • Conduct continuous customer interviews and synthesize findings for Sales, Growth, Creative, and Product teams.
  • Develop customer marketing materials such as case studies, references, testimonials, and advocate programs.
  • Manage and develop Rho's product marketer.
