As a Product Marketing intern at Athene, you will gain hands-on experience supporting how annuity products are positioned, marketed and brought to market You will help translate product information, market insights and business priorities into clear, engaging resources for financial professionals and consumers. This role offers exposure to product launches, enhancements and other product centric initiatives, competitive research, content development, digital marketing and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is curious, organized and interested in learning how product marketing supports business and distribution goals within the retirement services industry.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Finance or a related field.
Interest in product marketing, financial services, insurance or retirement planning.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to organize information and explain ideas clearly.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Collaborative, curious and willing to ask questions, learn new concepts and contribute ideas.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AI tools, data analysis and content development.

Responsibilities

Develop foundational knowledge of Athene’s annuity portfolio, the competitive landscape and the role annuities play in retirement planning.
Support product launches and other go-to-market initiatives by assisting with marketing materials, presentations, sales resources and digital content.
Help translate product information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
Analyze and implement audience, performance, and competitor data and insights to support product positioning and marketing recommendations.
Collaborate with partners across Marketing and other business units to help move projects from planning through execution.
Assist with project coordination, content reviews and other team priorities while exploring how technology, automation and AI can improve marketing processes.
