About The Position

Clasp is hiring a Product Manager for Data & Foundations to lead its existing Data team and new Foundations & Integrations team. The role serves internal teams, customers, and end users, keeping two engineering teams on track, shaping the roadmap with the Director of Product, and collaborating with three other product managers across Clasp Talent and Clasp Finance. Hiring may be at the Product Manager or Senior Product Manager level, depending on the candidate. The position owns data ingestion and partner integrations, including SFTP and API integrations; user communications across email, in-product, and emerging channels such as AI chat; internal tools and workflows; and data and reporting. The Product Manager will improve partner onboarding and integration reliability, define customer-facing and internal reporting, and advance engineering foundations and AI-native tools that help teams work effectively. This is a remote role limited to candidates in Eastern and Central time zones, with some travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of product management experience; at least 5 years for the Senior Product Manager level.
  • Technical fluency with SQL, data models, APIs, webhooks, file-based integrations, and authentication and provisioning patterns sufficient to participate in system design discussions.
  • Hands-on experience owning or shipping customer or partner integrations such as SFTP, APIs, or SSO/SCIM, and understanding of how integrations scale or fail.
  • Experience running roadmaps and sprint planning for engineering teams; experience across multiple teams is preferred within this requirement.
  • Working knowledge of the modern data stack, including warehouses, pipelines, and BI, and ability to contribute to migrations, data quality, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experimentation with LLMs, MCP, or agents, with a grounded understanding of their appropriate uses and limitations in user communications and internal operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining migration plans to executives and partner-facing impacts to engineers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or replacing an internal tools stack at a growing company.
  • Background in data, solutions engineering, or engineering before moving into product management.

Responsibilities

  • Run roadmap and sprint planning for the Data and Foundations & Integrations pods in partnership with two engineering leads.
  • Keep both teams focused, unblocked, and shipping; break large initiatives into milestones and communicate progress and risks.
  • Prioritize work transparently and make trade-offs when demand exceeds capacity.
  • Own customer data synchronization, including SFTP file ingestion and API integrations.
  • Make partner onboarding faster, more repeatable, and less dependent on engineering heroics.
  • Design integration validation, monitoring, and recovery paths so failures are surfaced and addressed clearly.
  • Lead enterprise-readiness initiatives such as SCIM provisioning.
  • Own end-user communications across email, in-product, and emerging channels such as AI chat, with visibility into what is sent, to whom, and why.
  • Own internal tools and workflows used to support partners and users, including staff tools and user impersonation.
  • Improve UAT environments and engineering foundations so product teams can ship faster and more safely.
  • Partner with the data team to consolidate business data into a single source of truth.
  • Set the vision for customer-facing and internal reporting, ensuring reports are trusted and acted on.
  • Shape the roadmap with the Director of Product and work alongside other product managers across Clasp Talent and Clasp Finance.
