About The Position

The Product Manager, Vice President, on the Deposits 2.0 AI Enablement team is a hands-on product and AI execution leader. The lean team accelerates product delivery with AI, prepares Deposits 2.0 for agentic capabilities, and establishes new ways of working with AI. The Vice President handles the function’s most complex problems, sets reusable standards and patterns, and helps less experienced team members succeed. The role calls for deep financial services knowledge and practical AI expertise, together with curiosity, collaboration, and strong problem-solving skills. The position shapes product strategy and vision, leads product lifecycle activities, and applies AI to complex, cross-product problems from framing through delivery. It designs AI agents and skills, defines what agentic readiness means for Deposits 2.0, improves the quality of AI knowledge-base inputs, and shapes an operating model that embeds AI in roles, workflows, documentation, and governance. The role also leads adoption and change, mentors colleagues, manages delivery plans, value, costs and resources, and works across Engineering, Architecture, Data, Design, Risk and Controls, and Operations while upholding firm standards.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product lifecycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study.
  • Financial services experience, ideally in consumer banking.
  • Hands-on AI expertise, including agentic AI frameworks and large language models, and a demonstrated record of applying AI to deliver outcomes in complex environments.
  • Curiosity and intentional learning habits, including initiating learning, seeking specific feedback, and applying learning to improve products, processes, and team practices.
  • Ability to produce results through people not directly managed, share credit, invite constructive challenge, and change positions in response to stronger arguments.
  • Customer focus that balances Chase customer and bank needs with the interests of teams using the work and the firm’s control framework.
  • Understanding of data, architecture, product, design, risk, and operations sufficient to anticipate constraints and engage partners early.
  • Sound first-principles judgment, ability to recognize patterns and codify reusable approaches, and judgment about when AI is or is not appropriate.
  • Willingness to acknowledge uncertainty and ask for help, while defending recommendations in senior forums and remaining open to better answers.
  • Clear senior-level communication through change, adapted to the audience and grounded in honest, evidence-based assessments.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • JPMorgan Chase experience, with familiarity with how the firm operates, how product delivery is governed, and how decisions are made at scale.

  • Design and build AI agents and skills, establish reusable patterns, and embed AI across the product delivery lifecycle in partnership with the Technical Lead and borrowed engineering resources.
  • Shape the team’s approach when new tools or methods change how teams work.
  • Define agentic readiness for Deposits 2.0 by shaping the future state, identifying gaps and design principles, codifying findings into design and engineering standards, and building relationships with bank experts.
  • Improve the quality of knowledge-base inputs and advance data inputs to the AI framework.
  • Shape an AI-enabled operating model by experimenting with team structures and workflows, improving processes, reducing bureaucracy, and developing more efficient alternatives to traditional workshops.
  • Lead organizational readiness and communication for AI ways of working, including adoption, skilling, change, mentoring, delivery plans, value tracking, cost and resource management, senior-leader communications, and purposeful meetings with clear next steps.
  • Bridge gaps across partner teams, raise risks early with evidence, escalate requests at the edge of the risk framework, and hold self and others accountable to firm risk, controls, and conduct standards.
