About The Position

We are seeking a Product Manager 1 to join our Defined Benefits Pension Plans team. In this role, you'll work with the product team to deliver valuable solutions for lower complexity products. You will support strategy execution, manage the product backlog, and collaborate across disciplines to achieve outcomes. Requirements

  • 2+ years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Prior experience in a product environment and as a Product Manager.
  • Experience with strategic thinking and decision making.
  • Experience with handling multiple workloads and/or contending priorities.
  • Experience with stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, influencing, and negotiating in a professional team environment.
  • Proven experience applying diverse perspectives and using data to inform action.
  • 1+ year working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with engineering teams and partners

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Defined Benefit pension plans, especially regarding participant benefits and plan operations

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving the strategy as part of a product team(s)
  • Define business outcomes and requirements, find opportunities, and lead the team in ideating and running experiments. Prioritize work based on insights.
  • Ensure successful product delivery in collaboration with technology and business partners. Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and frequently release valuable product updates. Act as the product owner in SCRUM teams, leading story creation, prioritization, and acceptance.
  • Work with other Product Managers and leader to monitor progress towards product goals, assess product health, and make vital adjustments to meet outcomes.
  • Share priorities, experiment results, and progress with business partners. Contribute to product management practices and continuous improvement.
