About The Position

The Construction Operations Product Manager is the business-side partner for McGough’s Construction Operations digital ecosystem. The role ensures technology effectively supports construction processes, including project planning, document management, preconstruction, estimating, scheduling, safety, quality, execution, field operations, BIM/VDC, and closeout. The Product Manager partners with Construction Operations leadership, project teams, IT/IS, Business Analysts, Application Specialists, Program Management, and peer Product Managers to define, prioritize, deliver, and continuously improve digital capabilities. The role owns the roadmap and business outcomes for Construction Operations applications and represents Operations when workflows intersect with Financials, Marketing and Communications, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Applications, and other product domains. The position requires understanding how work is performed and what digital systems need to support. It engages directly with project teams to identify system friction, workarounds, adoption challenges, and emerging needs, distinguishing among process, technology, configuration, integration, training, and change-management issues. Business leaders define processes and desired outcomes; the Product Manager translates that vision into product strategy, roadmap priorities, requirements, enablement, and measurable digital improvements. The position is based at McGough’s headquarters in Roseville, Minnesota. Travel is expected to be up to 20% for training or team-building activities, with additional travel to national office locations potentially required. The role may involve visiting construction jobsites.
