Product Manager

GreenLiteNew York, NY

About The Position

GreenLite is a startup founded in 2022 that aims to eliminate permitting uncertainty for developers nationwide. They combine AI-powered technology with an in-house team of registered architects, engineers, and city planners to deliver the fastest, most predictable path to permit approval. Their expert-led compliance process ensures plans are code-ready before submission, reducing revisions, delays, and costs. The company has raised $86M in venture funding and works with national brands like Walgreens, TD Bank, and Driven Brands. This Product Manager role is a high-ownership position at the intersection of AI, workflow automation, and operationally complex processes. The Product Manager will own products end-to-end, from 0 to 1 and through continuous iteration, working directly with leadership, engineering, design, and customers to define product strategy and evolution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience shipping impactful B2B software products in startups or fast-moving environments
  • Proven track record delivering end-to-end: from customer discovery through launch and iteration
  • Deep customer empathy. You talk to users before forming opinions and can synthesize what you learn into decisions the team gets behind
  • Builder instincts. You're comfortable working at a granular level of detail, enabling engineers and designers around you rather than just directing them
  • Technical fluency. You understand how software gets built, can engage meaningfully on tradeoffs, and have familiarity with how AI/LLM products work
  • Comfort with ambiguity. Energized by undefined problems, not unsettled by them
  • High ownership, urgency, and accountability
  • Experience presenting strategy and business reviews to senior leadership

Nice To Haves

  • 0→1 experience — you've built something from scratch and know what it takes to go from nothing to something customers depend on
  • Experience building or shipping AI/LLM features in production (evals, retrieval, going from demo to reliable product)
  • Experience in a regulated or operationally complex domain: construction, permitting, legal, healthcare, logistics, or similar
  • You've shipped a product that an operations or services team adopted and depends on

Responsibilities

  • Own the full product lifecycle: discovery, prioritization, design, development, launch, and iteration
  • Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and design to shape and execute the product roadmap
  • Work directly with customers to uncover pain points, operational bottlenecks, and workflow inefficiencies, then translate those insights into impactful product decisions
  • Define product strategy, success metrics, and execution plans across teams
  • Drive adoption through training and enablement; feed learnings back into the product

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation - Generous base salary & access to our Employee Equity Program
