About The Position

TakeIn is a food delivery platform focused on creating a fairer system for both customers and restaurants. Launched in January 2025 in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, the company is already processing real orders and is seeking to scale its operations by hiring across product, engineering, and operations. This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, newly launched food delivery startup in Dammam as a product manager. The role offers the chance to see the direct impact of your work weekly, as the company is experiencing daily user growth and closely monitors its metrics. The product manager will work across all aspects of a B2C mobile product, incorporating AI, within a collaborative team environment focused on building a significant venture.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a product manager or product owner, preferably in a startup or small, fast-moving team.
  • Shipped B2C mobile product experience with real users.
  • Experience with internal tools, dashboards, or operations products.
  • Ability to write clear PRDs, conduct deep research, and gain approval efficiently.
  • Comfortable with data: defining metrics, extracting data, and adapting decisions based on insights.
  • Working proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • Understanding of the Saudi market or experience building products for it.
  • Practical experience using AI in a workflow, with the ability to explain how it has improved efficiency.
  • Demonstrated serious interest in product management through books, podcasts, or other learning resources.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food delivery, q-commerce, or e-commerce.
  • Prior work on a POS system, restaurant technology, or a logistics product.
  • Familiarity with Figma, sufficient to work within files.
  • Experience with Jira, Linear, Mixpanel, Metabase, or similar tools.
  • Marketing experience.
  • Experience launching products in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region.
  • A degree in computer science or engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the Point of Sale (POS) app thoroughly to understand how restaurants use it and how it integrates with the food delivery system.
  • Own one product end-to-end, from taking direction and writing the Product Requirements Document (PRD) to refining it with the development team, aligning stakeholders, and driving it to launch.
  • Measure the outcome of launched products and iterate based on results.
  • Unblock the operations team, focusing initially on POS-related issues that slow down restaurant onboarding.
  • Expand scope to include the admin dashboard and customer app.
  • Engage with users, including customers, restaurant owners, and the internal operations team in Saudi Arabia.
  • Collaborate directly with design and engineering teams in a small, agile environment.
  • Ship weekly and analyze the impact of decisions, observing results within days.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to see the impact of your work weekly.
  • Work across B2C mobile product and AI.
  • Collaborative team environment.
  • Direct collaboration with design and engineering.
  • Weekly shipping and rapid feedback cycles.
