About The Position

SJE is seeking a Product Manager to support its SJE Rhombus brand. This role will focus on leading the success of Level Sensing and Alarm product lines, managing gross margin, and overseeing products from concept through lifecycle management. The Product Manager will define product strategy, identify market opportunities, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive initiatives for sales growth and customer satisfaction. The position is based in Detroit Lakes or New Hope, MN.

Requirements

• Experience with project management, product management, or product line leadership within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience managing margins, pricing, and product profitability.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across departments.
• Experience with new product development processes and lifecycle management.
• Experience performing market research using an analytical mindset and competitive analysis skills.
• Experience building communication, organization, and relationships.
• A 4-year degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent degree.
• 3-5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the success of Level Sensing and Alarm product lines, owning overall gross margin contribution.
• Guide products from concept through full lifecycle management.
• Shape product strategy and identify market opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive initiatives supporting sales growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term business success.
• Build strong partnerships with customers, sales teams, and customer service to gather insights.
• Manage the integration of newly acquired products into the broader product portfolio.
• Partner with R&D using a structured phase-gate process to evaluate and justify new product development and redesign opportunities.
• Collaborate across divisions to ensure Level Sensing and Alarm products are considered in company-wide growth initiatives.
• Travel up to 25% including occasional international travel.
