About The Position

As Product Manager — Phased Array & Conventional UT Probes & Wedges, you must be able to lead strategic product lines at the core of our NDT portfolio, from roadmap definition through lifecycle management. Working at the intersection of market needs, customer requirements, and internal capabilities, you will translate inspection challenges into technically robust, manufacturable, and competitive solutions. Collaborate closely with R&D, application engineering, operations, quality, and sales to ensure product performance and market relevance. Your role will be central to standardizing high-value offerings, supporting go-to-market initiatives, and optimizing portfolio performance across demanding end markets. You will operate in a highly technical environment directly connected to asset integrity and inspection performance.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in product management, technical sales, or application engineering within product development environments;
  • A solid understanding of the conventional UT and PAUT ecosystem, including probe and wedge design principles as well as their main inspection applications;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and technical teams, translating market needs into clear and structured product specifications;
  • Comfortable managing a multi-SKU portfolio, with an approach that is organized, analytical, and market-driven;
  • Demonstrate autonomy, professionalism, strong execution discipline, and excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product roadmap for PAUT and conventional UT probe and wedge families, aligned with business priorities, inspection applications, and market opportunities;
  • Translate customer needs and field requirements into clear product specifications for R&D, engineering, and applications teams;
  • Identify opportunities to convert custom-developed solutions into standard product offerings, and build the supporting business cases around revenue, margin, and investment targets;
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including launch, product evolution, portfolio rationalization, and end-of-life (EOL) decisions;
  • Validate the technical and application fit of probes and wedges with application engineering teams, based on real inspection scenarios, customer acceptance criteria, and inspection constraints;
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers on cost, yield, availability, market lead times, and qualification of critical components;
  • Maintain active market intelligence on NDT trends, applicable standards (ASME, EN, ISO), emerging technologies (TFM/FMC, broadband probes), and competitive offerings;
  • Define product positioning, target segments, technical differentiators, and launch support tools in close collaboration with sales teams and distributors;
  • Support strategic opportunities by partnering with sales on RFQs, technical value messaging, and customer objection handling;
  • Track portfolio performance through key indicators (revenue, margin, attach rate, SKU performance) and recommend optimization actions accordingly.
