About The Position

Midjourney is an independent research lab exploring new mediums of thought and expanding the imaginative powers of the human species. They are a small, self-funded team focused on design, human infrastructure, and AI. Most of the products they build don’t have obvious precedents. They are looking for a Product Manager to help lead the effort in navigating uncertainty, making decisions, and turning ambitious ideas into usable products. The role involves working closely with design, engineering, and research throughout the product development process, using tools like Claude Code to prototype concepts. The Product Manager will help teams stay organized, make thoughtful decisions, and move projects from early ideation to launch. This is a hands-on role that includes writing product specs, running standups, coordinating launches, interviewing users, reviewing prototypes, and investigating product questions. The ideal candidate enjoys bringing structure to creative work and making it easier for great teams to do their best work.

  • Own the execution of major product initiatives.

  • Help teams decide what matters most and make smart choices about quality, scope, and speed.
