Requirements

  • Requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Foreign equivalent accepted
  • Requires 36 months of experience in the following skills
  • Management consulting, strategy, finance, business operations, corporate strategy, investment banking, or partnerships
  • Leading strategy projects at a consulting firm, investment bank, or in a corporate strategy team
  • Analytics and modeling, including advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of SQL
  • Structuring and solving product problems
  • Presenting to leadership and influencing product decisions

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategic direction of the long-term product roadmap for Meta’s products and services.
  • Analyze the trends that shape our world, and apply them to our portfolio of products to identify how to position Meta for long-term success.
  • Quickly assess new opportunities and translate them into product recommendations (often based on imperfect data from multiple sources).
  • Build a deep understanding of our existing business using internal and external data.
  • Strategically evaluate new product opportunities and how they fit in a product portfolio.
  • Work closely with product leaders and cross-functional teams (data science, user research, corporate development, finance, legal, privacy etc.) to provide sophisticated research and analysis on market trends, surface opportunities and threats, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendation.
  • Effectively present and communicate insights and recommendations to executives, product and business leaders, and cross-functional partners, in order to influence product roadmap decisions.
  • Develop and maintain the role of a “trusted advisor” with cross-functional stakeholders and influence executive leadership to drive long-term impact.
