About The Position

The Card Product Manager II executes card product strategies to drive new account acquisition, and optimize portfolio performance that will drive account activation, usage, balance growth, and retention. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience or High School Diploma/equivalent with 4 additional years of credit card related oversight experience

  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and make recommendations to remediate issues

Responsibilities

  • Develops a thorough knowledge of card products with multiple tasks / products assigned.
  • Supports management in the building of business cases for addressing risks and opportunities and manage the implementation of the solution all aimed at increasing spend and balance growth, revenue, and profitability.
  • Monitors day-to-day KPIs and identify trends and patterns and elevate issues to management as appropriate.
  • Leads coordination of all interested parties (i.e. – IT, Phone Bank, Credit Administration, Enterprise Risk, Operations, Retail Branches, Underwriting, Collections, Legal, Compliance, Vendors) to ensure effective implementation and understanding throughout the bank.
  • Implements effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis.
  • If applicable, ensures staff is properly trained, provided with appropriate resources and motivated to adhere to risk management principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
