The Amex Digital Labs team drives innovation at American Express by originating, incubating, and managing products and platforms that are essential to our customers’ digital lives. We are a fast-paced team that leverages emerging technologies to develop digital payment and financial services products and engaging Membership experiences for Card Members. We often collaborate with technology companies and strategic partners to bring products to market. We are looking for a Product Manager to help with the conception, build, and evolution of consumer-facing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. These MCP servers will be used to enable agentic Membership experiences for Amex Card Members within AI/LLM partner channels. This role brings together AI technology, developer tools, and the work required to make sure consumer-facing products are reliable, secure, and trustworthy. It will require working closely with the engineering teams that will deploy these MCP servers, the Product Managers and business stakeholders who own the internal systems that power Membership experiences today, the business development teams that manage relationships with partner LLMs, and the go-to-market teams that navigate the approval processes necessary to launch products.
