About The Position

FBS is looking for a Product Manager. A Product Manager is passionate about building products that customers love, working with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

Requirements

  • Getting things done is in your DNA and the buck stops with you.
  • You’re assertive and willing to take well informed risks.
  • Proven working experience in product management, product planning or program management.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development.
  • Problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills presenting your ideas at all levels of the organization.
  • MS/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the real estate industry, especially with MLSs, is a huge plus.
  • Experience building enterprise technology platforms highly preferred.
  • Experience with Continuous Discovery Habits a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of core customer experiences and become an expert in a complex, wide ranging product.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize value centric customer outcomes and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experiences, and drive growth.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners as the face of the product.
  • Translate company and product strategy into iterative development within a cross functional squad.
  • Talk to your customers weekly and work with Design and User Research teams to create prototypes and final designs for assumption testing and development.
  • Run parallel discovery and development paths within a feature squad.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market.
  • Provide input into product launches while working with related FBS teams.
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
  • Represent the company by working closely with customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
