Product Manager, Cents OS

CentsNew York, NY
$130,000 - $150,000Remote

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, driven Product Manager to own Cents OS — the platform that runs the day-to-day of every store. Cents OS is where operators and their in-store teams spend their day, and it touches all things laundry, dry cleaning, and daily store operations. In this role you'll own wide-ranging product across two connected surfaces. The first is the in-store experience — the tools attendants use on the floor to process, track, and turn orders, manage tasks, and keep the store running through Cents POS. The second is operator control — the reporting, employee management, and remote management capabilities owners rely on to oversee and run their business from anywhere through Cents Business Manager. The role is mostly laundry-focused today, but spans the full breadth of garment care operations. You'll join the team managing these areas, working closely with cross-functional partners across engineering, design, sales, and support to define, build, and launch products that delight our customers and move the business forward. We're looking for someone who thrives on solving complex operational problems, understands customer needs deeply, and can lead teams through fast, iterative delivery. This role will be expected to work EST hours.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally building SaaS products for small and medium-sized businesses or operationally complex environments.
  • Proven experience running agile development and leading teams through fast, iterative delivery cycles.
  • Experience working with on- and offshore engineering teams across time zones.
  • Proven ability to work across teams — engineering, design, sales, and support — and to align stakeholders around a shared roadmap.
  • Customer-obsessed instincts, with a track record of turning customer needs into products people love.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to prioritize, make decisions, and measure outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make complex topics clear.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline daily workflows from intake to pickup — order processing, tracking, and status across the full order lifecycle.
  • Equip the attendant with intuitive point-of-sale, task management, and processing tools that keep in-store teams efficient and accurate.
  • Make it reliable so payments, tracking, and day-to-day operations just work, even during the busiest hours.
  • Manage the operation with employee management, scheduling, and workflow tools that help operators run their teams.
  • See the whole store through reporting and insights that surface the health of the store and where to act.
  • Run it from anywhere so operators can oversee, configure, and manage stores remotely, without being on-site
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and define product vision and strategy across the Cents OS surface area.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct user research, gather customer feedback, and analyze trends to understand operator and attendant needs and pain points.
  • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and translate complex operational workflows into clear specifications.
  • Lead agile development with engineering and design teams — including on- and offshore partners — to ensure timely, successful delivery of intuitive, reliable, and scalable solutions.
  • Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization, keeping distributed teams aligned and unblocked.
  • Monitor performance, track key metrics, and analyze user data to find areas to improve.
  • Plan and execute product launches, including go-to-market strategies and communication plans.
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on product features and benefits, and represent the roadmap to customers, partners, and at industry events.
  • Continuously improve product development processes and implement best practices.
