About The Position

Hygiena is seeking a Product Manager (Platform) to connect its software applications—including SureTrend, SureKleanz, SureDoc, and SureLab—into a cohesive system that customers experience as a single product. The role owns the platform roadmap end to end, encompassing unified sign-in, cross-application navigation, shared data and reporting, in-app cross-selling, and integrations with CRM, ERP, and billing systems. The Product Manager combines strong UI/UX judgment with an understanding of how accounts, data, and systems fit together, helping separately built applications feel like a unified experience. The Product Manager works cross-functionally with Engineering, UX, other product managers, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success. Success is measured by customer adoption, cross-app usage, and cross-sell revenue. This is a full-time, exempt, remote role, preferably based in Southern California. The schedule is standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for global coordination and urgent customer or partner needs. Occasional travel is expected, including to Camarillo, California, and for customer engagements, trade shows, and team meetings; estimated travel is less than 10%. Hygiena provides rapid microbiology diagnostic tests and solutions for time-sensitive processes worldwide, with a core focus on food safety. Its technologies help customers prevent illness, comply with regulations, protect products and brands, and operate more effectively. The company is headquartered in Camarillo, California, with offices around the world.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience for B2B SaaS software, including at least 2 years owning capabilities shared across multiple applications.
  • Demonstrated experience connecting multiple applications into a system customers experience as one product, including single sign-on, shared navigation, and cross-app workflows.
  • Strong UI/UX skills, with examples of experiences shaped—such as navigation, onboarding, or account switching—and evidence of improved usability or adoption.
  • Experience using AI tools, such as large language models and AI-assisted prototyping or design tools, to accelerate product work including research, prototyping, UX design, requirements, and documentation; sound judgment regarding accuracy, privacy, and compliance in regulated environments.
  • Working knowledge of identity and access concepts, including single sign-on, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, multi-tenant account structures, roles, and entitlements.
  • Experience shipping against enterprise security and procurement requirements, such as SSO, security reviews, SOC 2-style controls, and audit trails.
  • Experience defining shared data models and API or event contracts between systems; ability to read API specifications and collaborate fluently with engineers on integration design.
  • Experience integrating software products with commercial systems, including CRM, ERP (such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central), and billing platforms (such as Stripe), covering customer, plan, entitlement, and invoicing data flows.
  • Experience with product-led growth, including in-app upsell or cross-sell, experimentation, and conversion metrics.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Strong product sense and customer empathy, with the ability to identify how to simplify a clunky experience.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and comfort using product analytics and data to size opportunities and measure adoption and conversion.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear PRDs, integration requirements, product briefs, and release communications for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent verbal communication and executive presence, including comfort presenting to engineering teams and non-technical executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence peer product managers and align multiple teams on shared standards and priorities without direct authority.
  • Sound judgment in balancing platform investment against near-term product and commercial priorities.
  • Ability to lead multiple workstreams with competing timelines in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Collaborative, customer-first leadership; strong ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity across cross-functional teams.
