About The Position

Langfuse is hiring its first Product Manager to work with the founders in defining the product vision and setting strategic direction. The role collaborates with Solution Architects, sales, marketing, engineers, designers, and key customers to shape product decisions. Engineers own delivery from identifying solutions and defining technical requirements through implementation, launch, documentation, changelogs, and customer feedback. The whole company helps shape the quarterly roadmap, which engineering delivers. The Product Manager looks beyond the current quarter, develops a deep understanding of the market and emerging trends, and studies how engineers use AI to build agentic applications. They turn these insights into clear product artifacts that define the user problems to solve and the intended solutions. The role owns quarterly roadmapping and proposes the direction for Langfuse’s development. Langfuse describes the role as focused on product direction, research, prioritization, and enabling effective product-engineering work—not project management, breaking projects into Linear tickets, or relaying customer communications to engineers. Engineers organize their work and speak directly with customers.
