About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager for OpenAI’s Youth product efforts. This role will shape how teenagers benefit from AI across OpenAI’s products. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to improve daily life for millions of people. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, research, policy, legal, communications, finance, and operations teams. This position is based in San Francisco, CA, with relocation assistance available.

Requirements

10+ years of product management experience leading large-scale consumer or platform products.
Experience building for teenagers
Strong product judgment and can simplify complex problems.
Work effectively with technical teams and ship high-quality products.
Analytical, user-focused, and an excellent cross-functional communicator.
Care deeply about using AI to improve everyday life.

Responsibilities

Create age specific product experiences for <18 users
Identify user needs and turn them into high-impact product opportunities, owning products end-to-end, from concept through launch and iteration.
Build experiences that balance usefulness, simplicity, trust, safety, and accessibility.
Define success metrics and use data and research to guide roadmap decisions.
Partner cross-functionally to execute quickly and effectively.
