About The Position

We are the User Experience Platform (UxP) team in GoDaddy, responsible for building and maintaining the foundational design system and component library that powers consistent, high-quality user interfaces across the company. Our platform enables engineering teams to build UI that speaks the same design language — without needing to reinvent the wheel. We're at an exciting inflection point, investing heavily in AI-powered tooling for localization and code generation, ensuring our platform scales globally and integrates seamlessly with the next generation of AI-assisted development workflows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience, with significant experience owning platform or infrastructure products (not end-user applications)
  • Deep understanding of design systems, component libraries, and how scalable UI platforms enable engineering velocity and design consistency
  • Proven experience with Localization and internationalization (i18n) workflows, including managing translation at scale across multiple languages
  • Strong knowledge of Agentic AI and Generative AI concepts, architectures, and practical applications — particularly in the context of developer tooling and code generation
  • Experience defining product requirements for AI/ML-powered products, including understanding of human-in-the-loop and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) approaches
  • Familiarity with AI Coding Assistants (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot) and a clear vision for how platform products can be made "AI-agent ready"
  • Strong analytical skills with experience defining and tracking platform adoption metrics and KPIs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or managing developer experience (DevEx) or developer platform products
  • Background in computational linguistics, machine translation, or natural language processing
  • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, agent orchestration frameworks, or building AI skills/plugins
  • Prior experience working at a company with a mature design system (e.g., contributed to or consumed systems like Material Design, Carbon, Polaris, or similar)
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how they intersect with design system governance
  • Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar frameworks for exposing tools/context to AI agents
  • Technical background (former engineer or CS degree) with the ability to read and evaluate code
  • Experience managing products that serve both internal and external developer audiences

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for the UX Platform, which exposes standardized UI components and design tokens so that engineering teams across the organization build interfaces aligned to our company's design language
  • Define and drive the product vision for our AI-powered Localization platform, building an AI translation product that works alongside human translators using human-reinforced learning (RLHF), progressively increasing AI autonomy as quality thresholds are met
  • Lead the development of AI agents and skills that enable AI Coding Assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to generate UI code that is fully aligned to our company's design standards and component library
  • Collaborate closely with Design Systems, UI Engineering, Localization, and AI/ML teams to ensure platform adoption and continuous improvement
  • Partner with engineering leadership to define platform APIs, component governance, and integration patterns that serve both human developers and AI coding agents
  • Establish success metrics, monitor platform adoption, and drive continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making
  • Manage stakeholder communication and alignment across multiple cross-functional teams, ensuring the platform evolves to meet the needs of a diverse set of consumers
