Product Manager (Remote)
About The Position
Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed startup building foundational infrastructure for the emerging agent-to-agent (A2A) ecosystem. Their platform focuses on enabling secure communication, authentication, and governance for autonomous software systems. Led by an experienced founding team with a strong track record of building and scaling successful companies, the organization is operating at the forefront of a rapidly evolving category. With fresh funding and a small, highly technical team, they are looking to bring on a founding Product Manager to help define the product and drive early execution. This is a high-impact opportunity for a technical Product Manager to build a platform from the ground up and shape the future of agent-driven software systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product management for technical products
- Proven track record of shipping customer-facing products (not just internal tools)
- Strong technical fluency, ideally with a background in software engineering
- Experience working with APIs, SDKs, or developer platforms
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on complex systems
Nice To Haves
- Experience in developer tools, infrastructure, security, or API platforms
- Familiarity with identity, authentication, or authorization systems
- Experience with open-source products or developer-first distribution strategies
- Exposure to AI/agent-based systems or emerging AI infrastructure
- Startup or early-stage company experience
- Active use of AI tools to enhance product workflows
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and execution for a developer-first platform focused on security, governance, and agent-based systems
- Define and ship the initial product, including APIs, SDKs, and core platform primitives
- Work closely with founders and engineers to validate product-market fit with early design partners
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps
- Lead product development from early prototyping through launch and iteration
- Shape product positioning, narrative, and documentation for developer audiences
- Drive both short-term execution and long-term product vision in a fast-moving environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build a scalable, developer-centric platform
Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $150,000 – $220,000
