About The Position

We are looking for a highly technical product leader who wants to build high-quality product platform services and features for core experiences on Amazon's new generations of tablets. This PM will leverage the best of Android's capabilities to build and optimize a scalable and highly tuned experience, focusing on performance, power management, identity management, and AI architecture on our tablets to help scale a large, profitable business in the devices, entertainment, and productivity space. If you are a data-driven, customer focused, and deeply analytical product leader, this is the right role for you.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
  • Bachelor's degree

  • MBA
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a bold, customer-focused product strategy and vision for platform components to manage performance, power management, Customer Identity, and AI experiences to deliver a great holistic customer experience.
  • Lead initiatives in various stages of the lifecycle—from ideation to development to launch.
  • Write and clearly communicate thoughtful product strategies to offer the best Android benefits and Amazon's content and services, and translate them into actionable roadmaps.
  • Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision and strategy with leadership and internal partners, including Product leads, Engineering, UX, Legal, Finance, and more.
  • Drive product launches in partnership with Engineering, Business Development, Go to Market, PR, and other cross-functional teams.
