About The Position

The Amazon Music Personalization and AI Innovation team's vision is to offer Amazon customers delightfully personalized audio experiences by building world class customer and language understanding, content recommendations and experience optimization platforms. As a team, we play multiple roles at Amazon Music - one, we develop sophisticated models, scaled platforms, and flexible capabilities, offer them to internal teams, and experiment with them across experiences to improve the quality. We are seeking a Product Manager to own features within the Intelligent Personalization Gateway domain. The Intelligent Personalization Gateway powers the real-time decision layer that determines what customers hear and see — from how listening sessions are sequenced, to how content is ranked across experiences, how pages are optimized for each individual customer, and how customer intent is modeled to deliver the right experience at the right moment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience
  • Experience defining roadmap strategy and prioritizing deliverables for your team products

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines
  • Experience managing and deploying ML products

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a strategy for becoming the world's most personalized audio streaming service.
  • Own features across areas such as listening experience sequencing, content ranking, page optimization, and customer intent modeling.
  • Work closely with scientists and engineers to understand customer problems, define a clear vision and strategy, make prioritization decisions, invest in the next generation of models and features, and deploy them across experiences to improve personalization.
  • Run prioritization discussions with your team, do tech deep dives and help launch experiments.
  • Do product discovery to understand internal and external customer problems and write documents to propose solutions and ideas.
  • Lead them through strategy and execution to deliver value for Amazon Music.
  • Interact with cross-functional partners across science, engineering, and product teams.
  • Travel to our Berlin office to meet partners.
