About The Position

Formlabs is seeking a Software Product Manager to join their team. This role involves understanding customer usage of their 3D printing products, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with customer service, design, and engineering teams to develop and launch solutions. The position focuses on the software component of complex machines that combine software, hardware, and materials science, aiming to continuously improve printer functionality. The software product portfolio includes Firmware/UI, Desktop (Preform), IoT (Dashboard), and Workflows, catering to various industries and applications.

Requirements

Background (education or work) in an engineering discipline

Responsibilities

Identify immediate upcoming user needs and work with the team to develop product requirements and a product roadmap.
Define a strong product vision, build a product roadmap, and create a business case to pitch to leadership.
Define key product metrics to track progress towards the product vision and deliver results.
Work with Engineering & Design to brainstorm and solve product problems, write specs for features and improvements.
Ensure product improvements are shipped to customers as soon as possible.
Serve as the voice of the customer, developing and launching products that delight users and support business goals.
Work seamlessly across technical, business, and design teams to guide features to completion.
