We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join a team focused on shaping the future of sweet flavors and beverage solutions across North America. This key leadership role will oversee the comprehensive product strategy, encompassing market and segment analysis, competitive insights, pricing strategies, go-to-market planning, and product differentiation. Working cross-functionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving Sensient’s success roadmap. This role is based onsite in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a technical product management role, preferably within the food, flavor, or beverage industry, with a bachelor’s degree in food science or engineering (MBA preferred).
  • Strong ability to assess business opportunities, prioritize projects, and navigate ambiguity with strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to interpret market trends and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Confidence working cross-functionally in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort discussing technical product information.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategies and implement product portfolio tactics to drive growth and strengthen market position.
  • Provide thought partnership in all aspects of portfolio management.
  • Develop deep product knowledge, new product portfolio introduction and optimization, and support S&OP processes.
  • Work with leadership to set targets, guide pricing strategies, and collaborate with Finance and Operations to streamline processes.
  • Lead portfolio management, function as the product expert, and collaborate with Sales, Innovation, Marketing, and R&D to enhance products and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market and competitive landscape, track portfolio performance, and identify strengths and gaps in products and processes.
  • Assess new product potential, analyze post-launch performance, and refine strategies based on market feedback.
