About The Position

The SEC Repair Product Manager is responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing the portfolio of repair solutions and spare parts for elevator and escalator systems across the product lifecycle. The role ensures the availability, competitiveness, and profitability of spare parts and upgrade solutions. The Product Manager works cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, supply chain, Field Operations, vendors as well as the remainder of the Repair & Spare Parts Product Line to deliver repair and upgrade offerings aligned with market needs. Together with SEC Repair Business Management, the role ensures commercial readiness and execution for new and existing products and solutions. Together with Repair Operations Management, the role ensures that repair products meet requirements for installation readiness and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
  • Elevator industry experience, in particular service & repair preferred
  • OR Related industry experience (e.g. HVAC, production equipment)
  • Product management

  • Strong conceptual abilities with capacity to think “out of the box”
  • Good technical & supply chain knowledge
  • Analytical competency (data mining, problem analysis; strong Excel skills)

Responsibilities

  • Support commercial success for the Repair Product line across a hefty Repair P&L
  • Manage pricing strategies towards 3rd party customers through direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Own and evolve the Repair Product Line process in SAP SHAPE and supporting systems as one of the Key Users for SHAPE and the main Key User for SHAPE Repair products
  • Own and manage the product portfolio for Repair upgrade solutions and spare parts; execute on the repair product strategy; manage the full lifecycle of spare parts and upgrade solutions, from introduction to phase-out.
  • Develop, manage and maintain databases for product obsolescence and upgrade solutions together with Repair Business and Operations management.
  • Contribute to marketing literature, sales documents, and training material; support commercial and fulfillment excellence in the field by providing sales & product training; drive commercial readiness and execution for new and existing products together with Repair Business Management
  • Support recurring sales campaigns together with Field Operations, Repair Business Management, and Marketing. Establish and manage necessary support systems.
