This role will lead the strategy and execution of connected vehicle, telematics, and IoT solutions across the Avis Budget Group fleet. You will partner with engineering, hardware vendors, and field operations teams to deliver, maintain, and enhance in-vehicle technologies. Additionally, you will evaluate new technologies and capabilities that improve fleet visibility, automation, operational efficiency, and customer experience. You will also serve as the primary relationship manager for external technology providers and strategic solution partners, developing and maintaining partnerships that support product innovation, operational excellence, and long-term business objectives. This role requires leading the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Rental Automation products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities, and translating business needs into scalable product initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of delivering highly successful and innovative products
  • Strong leadership experience in aligning product strategy and execution efforts across large cross-functional groups, multiple locations, and time zones
  • Balance of technical and business acumen; able to communicate what is possible and what will have the biggest impact on business
  • Ability to take big ideas and turn them into a roadmap of features and research with minimal guidance
  • Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way
  • Demonstrates effective team dynamics, conflict resolution, mentoring, and leadership skills
  • You can get the data you need and can whip it into an insightful story with no help.
  • Experience running rigorous multivariate testing and experimentation.
  • Adept at ruthless prioritization in the face of competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to manage and monitor tens of thousands of connected devices and fleet technology assets.
  • Establish controls, reporting, and governance processes to support asset lifecycle management, inventory accuracy, and operational compliance.
  • Support Internal Audit reviews and ensure appropriate documentation, accountability, and oversight of Rental Automation technologies.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of connected vehicle, telematics, and IoT solutions deployed across the Avis Budget Group fleet.
  • Partner with engineering, hardware vendors, and field operations teams to deliver, maintain, and enhance in-vehicle technologies.
  • Evaluate new technologies and capabilities that improve fleet visibility, automation, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for external technology providers and strategic solution partners.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships that support product innovation, operational excellence, and long-term business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, manage vendor performance, and drive successful business outcomes.
  • Lead the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Rental Automation products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.
  • Define product goals, success metrics, and priorities in partnership with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Translate business needs and emerging technology opportunities into scalable product initiatives and measurable outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships across Product, Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Audit, and Commercial teams to drive execution.
  • Influence and align diverse stakeholders around shared objectives, priorities, and product outcomes.
  • Navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and organizational complexity while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
